Fuel price API

We provide data on retail (pump) fuel prices in over 100 countries that represent over 90 percent of the global consumption of petroleum products. The data are collected on a weekly basis by our team using information from government institutions, regulatory agencies, major media sources, and oil companies. Our sources, clients, and media presence are described on the about page.

API access to our data via XML

The most recent data on fuel prices and the historic series are available through an API allowing you to transfer automatically our data to your servers. After registering, select countries, the type of fuel, and currencies to obtain an XML link. The link can be placed in your system to download our data to your machine. The API gives access to:
    - gasoline and diesel prices in 111 countries (countries with * in the list)
    - gasoline prices across regions/states in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Russia, and the U.S.
Historical data

The API can give access to historical data as well as to the latest numbers. The series are weekly and start in 2005 for most developed countries and in 2014 for all other countries.

Free two-week trial

You can register for a two-week free trial that gives you complete access to the API functionality. During that time, you have access to all of your data - all countries, regions and cities and all indicators - for the last few weeks.

Subscription cost

The cost depends on the number of countries, fuel types and years included in the subscription. Please contact us for a quote.
